A Family Dinner

This was a collaborative work with Rachel Vrankin. We worked together through each element of this piece. Everything from concept to set design and makeup was carefully planned and considered. We knew early on that we wanted to create a piece centered around zombies. Ultimately, the decision to focus on a civilized family of zombies was made to poke fun at the shifting values of the contemporary family, as the traditional family meal becomes increasingly irregular. We felt that it added humor and intrigue to the scene as well as more area for interpretation.
